Sundays in the Church
8:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist

10:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist
with Choir and Church School.

Coffee, tea and refreshments are
served in Centennial Hall (lower level)
after both services.

Staffed Nursery (Chester Street entrance)
opens at 9:15 a.m.

Wednesdays in the Chapel
7:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist 


Inclement Weather Policy: Please note that no matter what the weather is doing there will always be worship services on Sunday. The rest of the week (Monday-Friday) the church will follow the Birmingham School District's school closing schedule. So that means if the schools are closed then all church meetings and gatherings will be cancelled.

It’s easy and convenient to park for Sunday services. Parking is free on Sundays at City of Birmingham parking decks and metered spaces. The Chester Street parking deck is located just across the street from St. James on the west side of the building. Street parking can be made on Maple, Chester and Martin streets - all adjacent to St. James. The handicapped entrance to St. James is located on Martin Street, the street south of the building. Handicapped parking is available under the overhang at the St. James Martin Street entrance. The Chester Street parking deck has handicapped spaces located next to the elevators.
